Print On The Train Aim to a friend Email On The Train to a friend Report On The Train

The first time I rode on the train,
The thing that caught my sight was a crane,
The air that rushed in through the window,
Was as fresh and clean as a rainbow.
As I gazed outside towards the scenic beauty,
I thanked god for giving us all this bounty.
When the train passed through a railway crossing,
I saw the common people waiting.
At that time a poor boy came to me and asked for money,
It made me stop eating the bread sanwiched with honey.
I gave the bread to the boy,
And was glad to see him beam with joy.
How can a country demand of being a developed nation,
When some people even can't afford their ration.
I pledged to work for the poor when I grow up,
The lush green fields outside shined with dewdrop.
Finally, the destined ststion came into my sight,
The people in our compartment looked happy and bright.
I climed down the train murmuring a rhyme,
I was lucky that the train reached on time.
